Smart Education Lights Up The Future: A Demonstration Project Case Of Digital Transformation Of Education In a City In Southeast Asia
As the government's strategy progresses, the Education Bureau has made the digital transformation of education a key task. However, traditional classrooms still have problems such as uneven distribution of teaching resources, insufficient interaction between teachers and students, and backward information technology equipment in remote schools. In 2022, our company cooperated with a city's Education Bureau and local technology companies to deploy smart education solutions based on all-in-one electronic whiteboards in public primary and secondary schools in the local center and surrounding suburbs, creating the first "full-scenario interactive classroom demonstration area" in Southeast Asia.
Goal
In 2025, it will expand to larger tourist cities, focus on developing "cross-cultural understanding courses" and help a certain country become a smart education hub in Southeast Asia.
Core Pain Points And Challenges
Traditional Teaching Is Inefficient:
- The blackboard + projector model is difficult to support dynamic courseware and real-time interaction
Differences In Educational Resources Between Urban And Rural Areas:
- Suburban schools lack smart devices and teachers have weak digital literacy.
Multilingual Teaching Needs:
- High degree of internationalization, compatible with Thai, English and Chinese teaching scenarios
The Trend Of Green Development:
- The government requires all educational equipment to meet the "Carbon Neutral Campus" certification standards.
Solutions:
1. Hardware Deployment: Intelligent Interaction Hub
- Customized 86-inch 4K ultra-clear electronic whiteboard all-in-one machine, equipped with anti-glare glass, adapted to the high-light environment of Southeast Asia.
- Built-in multi-language AI voice assistant (supports multiple languages), supports gesture control and multi-device wireless screen projection.
- Suburban schools are equipped with solar power supply modules to ensure stable use in areas with frequent power outages.

2. Software Ecosystem: Localized Content Platform
- Develop an education platform that integrates a country's Ministry of Education's standard curriculum and 3,000+ interactive courseware resources.
- Built-in Buddhist culture topic modules that fit local values.
- The student-side APP supports intelligent homework correction and learning data analysis, and parents can receive learning reports through LINE.
3. Teacher Empowerment: Training System
- Cooperated with a university to launch the "Digital Tutor Program" to train more than 800 teachers to master skills such as courseware production and classroom game design.
- Set up an "AI Teaching and Research Assistant" to automatically analyze classroom videos and generate teaching improvement suggestions.

Social Value Extension
- Cultural Inheritance: The basic Muay Thai teaching module built into the electronic whiteboard has been incorporated into the physical education curriculum and has become a special school-based content.
- Community Connection: Equipment is open on weekends for residents to learn digital skills, serving more than 5,000 people in total.
- Low-Carbon Practice: Through the equipment energy consumption monitoring system, the overall campus electricity consumption is reduced by 18%.
Implementation Results (As Of 2023)
- Improved Teaching Efficiency: The classroom interaction rate in pilot schools increased by 65%, and the average score of students' unit tests increased by 22%.
- The Radiation Effect Is Prominent: through the "1 school leading 5 villages" model, cloud-based course resources are delivered to rural schools in the surrounding Suphan Buri Province.
- International Recognition: Won the "Best Educational Technology Innovation Project" award from a city in Southeast Asia.
